EARLY SIGNATURE PASS
YOU WILL NEED AN ANIME SAN DIEGO DAY OR WEEKEND TICKET WITH YOUR EARLY ENTRY PASS TO GAIN ACCESS.
You cannot pre-register the Early Signature Pass on Friday.
You must line up on the day of your pass.
If you have a Weekend Early Signature Pass, you will need to line up each day at the Early Signature Pass registration line.
This pass allows you early access to the Celebrity Signing Areas at 9:00 AM.
You must also purchase an Anime San Diego ticket for the corresponding day that you buy your Early Signature Pass.
This is not a VIP pass for signatures. This pass only allows you early entry before attendees who did not purchase an Early Signature Pass.
This pass allows you to line up early at any Celebrity signing space.
A large majority of celebrities will begin early signings at 9:00 AM, but we cannot guarantee that the celebrity you want a signature from will be available at 9:00 AM.
However, you will be one of the first attendees in line for when that celebrity does arrive.
All celebrities are scheduled to arrive between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Please Note: You must have an Anime San Diego 2026 ticket that matches your Early Signature Pass date.
You will need to show the QR code for both your Anime San Diego ticket and your Early Signature Pass for early entry.
Anime San Diego will post celebrity signing locations before the convention.
Signs for Early Signature Pass Check-In will be posted at the Main Entrance of Anime San Diego.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time can I register on Saturday and Sunday for my Early Signature Pass?
You can register as early as 8:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday at the main entrance check-in. You must have both your Anime San Diego ticket QR code and Early Signature Pass QR code ready to show the check-in staff.
Do I need to have an Anime San Diego ticket to get an Early Signature Pass?
Yes, you’ll need to purchase an Anime San Diego ticket for the corresponding day that you buy your Early Signature Pass.
Can I bring more than one person with me if I buy one Early Signature Pass?
No. Each Early Signature Pass only allows one person to enter the signing areas early.
Does the Early Signature Pass give me access to other areas aside from the signing areas?
No. The Early Signature Pass only grants early access to the Celebrity Signing Areas.
Does my Early Signature Pass allow me to go to the front of any line?
No. The Early Signature Pass allows you to access the Celebrity Signing Areas at 9:00 AM. It does not work as a fast pass or VIP pass.
If I buy a Saturday Early Signature Pass, does that work for Sunday too?
No. It only works for the day you purchased the Early Signature Pass for.
How early can I line up for the Early Signature Pass entry?
You can line up as early as 6:00 AM, but we will not start registering Early Signature Passes until 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
Can I pick up my Early Signature Pass at pre-registration?
No. You cannot pre-register or pick up your Early Signature Pass on Friday. You must line up on the day of your pass.
If I already have my Anime San Diego badge, where do I go the day of the event?
We will have Early Signature Pass signage at Main Check-In, in front of the convention center. Please follow the signs or feel free to ask a staff member where to go. Before the event, we will publish detailed instructions on where Early Signature Pass registration will be located.
Can I bring my kids with me if I use my Early Signature Pass?
If you are bringing children under 12 with you using your Early Signature Pass, they must stay with you at all times in the signing area. They will not be allowed to go into separate lines and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Anyone over 12 who wants to enter the signing areas early must purchase their own Early Signature Pass.
What time is entry for people who didn’t buy the Early Signature Pass?
Attendees who did not purchase the Early Signature Pass will be able to enter at 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
What if the celebrity I’m lining up for isn’t there at 9:00 AM?
All celebrities are scheduled to arrive at their signing areas between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. If a celebrity is not at their table when you arrive, you will still be one of the first attendees in line for when they do arrive.
Please note: We do not have control over the exact times celebrities appear at their tables, but we do our best to have them arrive early.
